This is the first stage of editing where I help you with the big picture of your writing piece. I address issues in plot pacing and the overall organization of structure of the piece. I will also help you enhance and add to your details and ensure there is no missing information or holes in your plot.

This is also known as line editing because I go through your writing line by line and help you to fine tune it. During this time, I will ensure that your sentence structure is sound, you are using precise language, your sentence styles match, and your writing sounds pleasing to the ear.

I will offer suggestions to fix grammatical errors, punctuation, and spelling. Writing Coaching - We will meet in person so that I can give you personalized help with your writing. It gives you a chance to ask questions, generate ideas, and fine tune the writing skills specific to your piece of writing

I am available to tutor Language Arts and English on a weekly basis for both reading and writing. I have 20 years experience teaching at the elementary and junior high school levels in Alberta, and can tutor at the high school level if needed.
